Thank you to those who came out and supported An Evening for Matangwe November 19th, 2011. The evening was a great success in raising over $14,000 for the Educational Initiatives! The proceeds of this fundraiser will feed well over 500 children a lunch-time meal each school day in 2012, and provide these students with a uniform. A special thank you to all our silent auction donors and our DJ.

On May 29th, 2012, WCI is hosting our 9th annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Conestoga Golf Club to help Caring Partner Global fund raise money. The money goes towards helping the people in Matangwe, Kenya. This year it is an honour for myself, Peter Wong, and my partner, Richad Hirani, to represent WCI in organizing this huge event. We heard about all the incredible things that CPG does and are eager to help out! The Charity Golf Tournament is on May 29th and the tournament itself begins at noon. In addition a dinner is held at 6pm for all golfers. We would like to see as many golfers participate as possible so please email us at cpgvikings@gmail.com if you are interested in signing up or helping behind the scenes (by potentially sponsoring). We can then send you our golfer package and/or sponsor package to get you signed up! |
